Thanks for participating in the May 2017 DigiScrap Parade! If you’re following the Parade route from start to finish, you should have arrived here from Melissa Bennett Designs and your next stop will be Digital Scrapbook Ingredients. If you get lost along the way, simply head back to the main DigiScrap Parade site to view the master list and get back on track.

Are you excited for National Scrapbooking Day??! My Store at The Sweet Shoppe will have a few new products debuting and there will be some fun games and challenges in the forum as well!

In addition to all of this I wanted to let you know I’m having my annual guest creative team call and you’re the first to see! I look forward to seeing who applies this round! Feel free to let me know a time of year that works best for you as well if you are interested in a spot on the guest team!

And last but not least how about ONE little peek of one of the products I’ll have in store this weekend??

Can’t wait to show you the full thing!

Mother’s Day Hybrid Cards

Hello KCB fans!

Zora here to share some ideas for forthcoming Mother’s Day!

Last time I gave some card to my mom… oh, I don’t remember, I was a child! Maybe attending elementary school. 🙂

By becoming a mother myself, it gave me wings somehow and uplift my creativity! For this year, I decided to create cards for both my mom as well as mom-in-law as a surprise!

This is my mom and I when I was appx. 6 months old. I used a favorite tutorial of my friend Adri to create a sketch effect. 🙂

I also added some cardstock from the box from my tights and punches to embellish.

Finally, I added a blue ribbon to tie the flaps.

I used digital scrapbooking kit “Blessings” by Kristin Cronin-Barrow:

Here you can see my husband as a newborn baby with MIL:

MIL likes intensive blues and reds which go perfectly together. I softened them by adding a punched paper lace, too. Few sticker gems provide for a perfect final touch.
