If you’re a fan of KCB, then you are probably familiar with Sweet Shoppe Designs – her online “home”. If you’re familiar with SSD, then you might know about their Monthly Challenges which have recently been given an overhaul (along with the rest of the site). This year they are trying something different, something very visual for us creative types. They are not just giving you verbal challenges, but are also including a visual inspiration to help jump start you! You can find these challenges on Pinterest, and you don’t have to have a membership to be able to view them (but if you’d like an invite to join just let me know!)

So! All that was to introduce you to a new post series we’re doing! We’re going to show you a layout that we’ve created using KCB products for an SSD challenge.

My layout this month was created for SSD Portfolio Challenge #4 – “Use this fun quote from Audrey Hepburn to inspire the title & theme of your next layout (or three). – 1 pt per layout.”  The quote? “I believe in manicures. I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at leisure and wearing lipstick. I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything else seems to be going wrong. I believe happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe tomorrow is another day. I believe in miracles.”

Here’s the layout I came up with based on that quote.
